My contribution to the GA-HQ project “Link’s Friendlist.” I had Quill from Wind Waker, but I got a bit carried away and ended up doing more of a tribute to Dragon Roost in general. Whoops! Also, I discovered a lot of feels for Komali’s dad while drawing this. I think he’s my new favorite WW character. Sorry Quill, you’ve been booted. XD
I finally got to meet Jed Henry and pick up a copy of his exquisite reinterpretation of Avatar: The Last Airbender as a traditional Japanese wood block print. Jed is the coolest! If you’re at SDCC stop by and check out his incredible work. jedhenry
Come by booth Green 34 in artist alley to see me, Claire, and Ky. I promise we don’t bite. c: And yes, the Zombie Slayer Sailor Moon print will be for sell. So will the Daryl Dixon, Madoka Magica, and Sherlock prints that I sold during FanX in April. New prints are on their way. I’m just finishing up the couple of quick pieces that I’m submitting for Reality Not Included vol. 2(Green 40), an anthology put together by BYU students and alumni. Then, I can get the ball rolling on a few new prints before I take off to Texas and Idaho during August. I’m thinking some Free!, Studio Ghibli, and maybe a nice pinup of one of my OCs?
I’m looking forward to seeing you all again!
Check it out!! Here is the map for the booth that Annie, Ky and I will be having at the SLCC!
Swing on by and say hello! I’ll have several Pokemon/Nintendo/Original prints and cards as well as some buttons and perhaps some shirts. Come get some goodies!
We’re all pretty much taking over that row with some pretty spiffy BYU Bloggers. Be sure to swing by if you plan on going to SLCC. I’m finishing up some new prints right now, so if y’all have any suggestions of what you’d like to see be sure to drop a line!
A piece I finished up for the Reality Not Included anthology, created by BYU students and alumni. It’s pretty simple, but I like the look of it. This is the first time I’m submitting anything to an anthology, so I’m stoked! I’ll post the information for the kickstarter as soon as it gets up and running.
Lovely illustration! Can’t wait till the kickstarter is up! It’s going to be a great anthology!
